Packages that have the same priority and are in the same folder are sorted by alphabet, starting with special characters, then numerics (0-9), then letters (a-z). Packages that are placed one folder deep are prioritized over ones that are placed two, three, etc. Packages that have the same priority are sorted by how deep in the file structure they are put. All packages files get assigned the highest matching priority from the resource.cfg.Ģ. Packages with higher priority override lower priority packages.ġ. However, if you assign a priority of 999 to the folder "2-Graphics" via the resource.cfg, then it will override the CAS folder if needed. If folders "1-CAS" and "2-Graphics" are created, the CAS items will override the graphics packages if needed. I also discovered, that after sorting by resource.cfg priority, the package files are prioritized by alphabet. I have used this procedure to fix some graphics-mods and default-CAS-override problems in the last few months. After months of testing I can confirm that one can indeed set priorities in the resource.cfg for different paths.
